Meet, Mia Temple
Mia Temple is the Founder and Creative Director at HUMM Creative, an event + design company that believes everyone deserves a happy place. Mia comes with almost three decades of design expertise and two decades in event management, collaborating across diverse sectors from Defense to Bridal. She co-founded and oversaw all aspects of prominent corporate events, including the annual Insider Threat Summit (8 years), Inside Data Science (4 years) in Monterey, CA, and most recently, the inaugural Five Eyes Insider Risk Practitioner's Alliance (FIRPA) in Washington, DC.
Mia ensures every event exceeds expectations and fosters lasting connections with her hospitable nature, vibrant style, and adept negotiation skills. Guided by her core values of integrity and balance, she operates on three key principles: prioritizing engagement over content, embracing problem-solving, and striving to impress while remaining easy to please.

In 2022, Mia curated her first art-auction fundraiser, creating a collection of works with autistic clients ages 2-21. The art pieces collectively sold for a generous $50k, benefiting autism programs for socio-economically disadvantaged youth.

Raised in a family of entrepreneurs and artists, Mia learned the importance of loving what you do from an early age and now instills this ethos in her three children as a dedicated 'mompreneur.' With a foundation in design established in her teens and enriched by accredited certifications and academic achievements, Mia's well-rounded approach to event planning guarantees success and satisfaction.
